Looking at a ST24 tomorrow, any one got any tips?
Even tho i just spent over 1k on my laguna yesterday i am looking an an ST24 tomorrow, (provided he dont bloomin selll it between now and tomorrow ) as i areally want one of them now, i have a fastford buying guide but it aint really up to much so does anyone have any tips or buying guides etc please,
oh and does any one want a laguna 1.8RT Sport? (got a new head) oh the pain

Ask if it has had the water pump replaced, and if not check for signs of HG failure. The std pump has a plastic impellor, which breaks down and causes it to overheat. If this has happened, the engine is basically scrap due to part costs, so be careful
Check the secondary throttles are operating correctly (it will noticeably 'perk up' at about 3200RPM if all is good). This is a Ł120 bill to sort, but a good bargaining point
Other than that, it's just common sense
