I can't wait to see thw whole car finished off, will be awesome (for pulling 14 year olds, as that is the only use it will see

.Awesome mate - Why the low boost at the top end though ? 26 is really low.
Have you sorted a box ?

.Still its a nice flat torque curve that will need some uprated box....its very flat.
The T38 appears to be strong...
Well boost doesnt really mean Zilch as such, as the breathing limits of the engine, the temperature and the boost are what determine airflow.
So its certianly relevant but isnt the B all and End all.
Once of the main things boost shows of course is how bad the standard engine is at consuming air!

Chip,
The point I was making is that you can't compare two different turbos and the boost they are running and say that the one running more boost must be either more powerful or running similar power to the "bigger one" just because of running BIG boost

dingy, If the turbo can make that power at that low boost.. then im happy. less stress 'innit'
Im currently looking for a quaife Big tooth box
as for same maps.. i can assure you from what i saw Ding, they most certainley arent

Dave,
Ive just put the engine in my escort back together so it looks as if its driven to England so the AA can take it to Peter.b while I go pick up another car the far side of Blackpool

Seems you have fairly low torque, like my h/c engine Dave.
Mine is 411bhp @ 20psi, but because of the lack of boost, the torque is limited.
Should be a strong trouble free power at that level
