Spotted this whilst waiting for some bites, scared the shit out of me when i saw it, i was a bit lean at the time
Like a pair of arms comming out of a grave or something!
Was a good day, going back at the weekend for the big bastards

were i was born north scotland (thurso) they have a very good salmon river was great as locals fishing for free angles pay upto a grand a week to fish it 
the lord of the town has a salmon creel 2 guys in a lil boat just drop nets and circle them is a shame when you see them on the shore with these monster salmon best i got was a 25 lb cock salmon nearlly snapped my wrist when tailed it woops forgot to kill it luckly i let go of it befor it cracked its tail awesome fish sooo powerful took my whole spool about 8 times runin out to see

Well this place is private, but everyone uses it...but the wankers leave their rubbish and the banks are littered
What i was going to do was go to the council, find out who the owner was and write him a letter explaining that i would be willing to pick the litter up in exchange for free fishing there for me and my mates.
It shouldn't take longer than 2 hours with a couple of us to clear it up

I go to a small lake very similar looking about an acre in size. Plenty of carp round the 5 to 10 lb bracket.
Last week had 8 in 40 minutes out then got snapped, then another bite never seen the elastic on the pole go so far number 18 as well then the pole went snap
6oo hundred quid and the fooker snapped top section mind you so plenty of spares.
New section on and had 50 odd carp in a few hours mine and my uncles best day in a good year, with him catching a similar ammount

Fish a chuck at this place in out in out all day.
All on bronze maggott as well.
It is miles from anywhere you have to cross rail lines the lot to get to it and people rarley fish it.

Yeah mate, we used to anchor up over a schol (sp) of fish and just chuck the rod's over the side, you'd have all 4 hooks full up in no time!

also your landing net is not up to the job.
and also if the lake is private why are you fishing it, people pay good money to fish private lakes and people like you should respect that.
if i found any one other than members on the syndicate lake that i fish i would report them straight away. i pay 200quid a yeah to fish one lake
people like you give fisherman a bad name.

As for the net, thats not ours, we had to borrow that of someone who was also there cos someone left ours in the bloody car
