hmmmm i think i might get back into fishing next year. used to do loads with my dad before him my mum split up. everyweekend down a couple of pools near my old house!
sitting ina tent for a weekend watching bite alarms doesnt apeal to me though, id rather be perched on the bank stalking a shoal of double figure carp with bread crust and dog biscuits of the surface!! nowt like it!!

some nice fish , i did a lot of carp fishing last year been to busy this year makein sure i pass me exams but no long till there over and ill be back at it 
if your going to go for carp make sure you got a big net ! 48" or above you never no what size your going to get next

smit yeah mate was hoooge was at 44lb when i had it 3years back but same fish has been out at 49lb last season so gotta be round the 50lb mark by now,
well hopefully ill be back in a couple of weeks with a 50lb+ under me belt

xr-stu, i no what you meen bout small net and big fish was fishing last year paked up all me gear as i was going had one rod as i was waitin i casted out , to mins later i could see me line pissin off lol so grabed me rod and had no net me mate had to jump in and land it with his hands 29lbs 6oz shame he could only just lift it only a small guy

Great idea about the PF carp fishing trip to France
Jeez I thought that fish looked familiar!!! I was about to ask if it was caught from a pond in Cornwall then i looked at my pic and there's a difference in the scale pattern!!! They must be related
Here's mine 19lb 8oz a good few years back!!

Small common carp mate, got the shape of a Crucian carp but i can see a barbule at the corner of its mouth, besides it would of been a massive crucian!!! Crucians don't have barbules

As for the net, thats not ours, we had to borrow that of someone who was also there cos someone left ours in the bloody car
Isn't it enoughb that i will offer to clean up ALL the rubbish from it? I mean i'm not exactly taking the piss am i, like most do
