i got a suspicion that I've heard peeps say they've got them from halfords of all places for £5-6.... make sure you know what it looks like first though, in case they try and give u the wrong one...

Not sure about that...

I did goto Halfords and there wonderful book listed the same thermostat for 2wd's and 4x4's....

And they are different. Needless to say i ended up with a 2wd one dispite telling them i thought they were different....

Unless they are now stocking them.

Anyone know?

Got the same problem here with Halfords like companies still listing the 2wd item for a 4x4. Tried telling them several times but they just dont care.

What do the retail at in the UK?

When i tried to get one about a year ago from 'Frauds' it was about £48

Yes mate, definitely from Halfords (Yeovil to be specific) and definitely a 4x4 one, and £5-6 This was a year ago or so though......

there is a halfords stat which is the same as a 4x4 i think its a htc6 or something like that call stu he knows

Make sure it's stamped 82 degrees on the back and not 88.

HTK606 £5.79 from Halfords

And its fixed the Overheating
