Default I THOUGHT WRONG THEN....

As you all can see, I am a Goldmember, Posted a ForSale advert up lastnight for my Brother, Had an email from one of the Moderators saying is your Brother a Goldmember? (Which he isnt), woke up this morning and noticed that my Post has Disapeared

I thought a Goldmember pass is for sales etc.... Obviously not huh?

mate then thats a case of being honest and in return breaking a rule

i cant defend that as he does need to be a gold member to post for sale adverts, look on the bright side, you are a honest person

just the dishonest ones get all the benifits, but thats part of life

sorry mate, that is the rules im affraid

Must admit, I only just realised that too......

Posted an ad in "Cars For sale" section for a PassionFord user (JodieRS2K) who is not a gold member.......and it was removed after a few days.

The correct thing to do would be for the person who's car it is to become a gold member.......

thing is..

it kind of defeats the purpose of Gold Membership. As 1 person could pay, then we could all be his/her mate

It does seem that its 1 rule for some and another rule for others

You sure Lewis??????
So if Jod closed her PassFord account (for a "few" days ), then I could advertise her car for sale with her contact details (e-mail address) in the ad?

That cant be right

WTF

what a stupid rule
yeah i know its a dumb rule BUT its a good rule too

its very hard to monitor and requires honest members tbh, then all is cool

if theres a car on ebay that might be of interest that rule allows ya to show a link and member benifits

without that rule the member dont benifit at all as the ebay guy whould have to become a member to post a link

its not as silly as it sounds and requires people to be honest to make it work

nope its deffo ya brothers car !!!!!!

he has a finacial interst in it making him the legal owner !!!!!

your finacial tie ended when he handed over the car, you are just breaking another rule by not informing DVLA of the new owner to allow less owners ont he log book and also that is gonna be used to decive the new owner who thinks the cars had less owners than it really has

next ya will be turning the clocks back

just get ya bro tp pay the 20 quid and add it on the price of the sale or stick it on ebay and let another member who ois not aware of it link the sale ad and thats legal and honest

If the person dont use Pf then u can advertise their car! if they do use Pf u cant!

Simple!

But we dont check far in2 it! so as long as the person ur sellin for doesnt pop up on the post & say this is my car! & u dont inc. in your post PM this user cause its their car i dont really care!

just whack down their phone no. & jobs a good 1!

http://www.dvla.gov.uk/vehicles/regdocs_whatis.htm

What is a Registration Document/Certificate?

A Registration Document/Certificate shows the registered keeper of a vehicle. The registered keeper is the person who keeps the vehicle on a public road and is not necessarily the legal owner. It gives the keeper's name and address, the registration mark and other information about the vehicle. A new Registration Certificate is issued each time DVLA updates the record with any change to the existing details. You should make sure that the details on this certificate are accurate and you must tell us immediately if we need to make any changes. You may have problems selling your vehicle if any of the information is inaccurate. A Registration Document/Certificate is not a document of title (ownership).
