Iv recently fitted a new engine and turbo into my 4x4 sapphire cosworth.

It was a running dark greens T3 and 24psi of boost before the change.

Iv now fitted low comp engine, with BD14 cams, T34 with .63 housing and converted to 2wd exhaust manifold.

The problem im now having is i cant get it to boost properly and only does 15psi max at high revs.

I have swapped actuators and adjusted them, disconnected amal valve, checked for air leaks.

Any one have any idea what it could be????

Yes i got a chip to go with engine spec as running different injectors.

Iv also fitted a bailey breather stsyem, this wouldnt have anything to do with it??

have you checked its getting full throttle? had this on mine and stu sorted it for me

 

Yes getting full throttle according to secs monitor.

When put foot down boost gauge goes to 0 but wont start boosting til 4000rpm and max boost is 15psi at rev limit, it should be boosting earlier and to 30psi.

Because i have now fitted T34 turbo will i need to adjust the jets in amal valve?? If so would this cause it not to boost properly???
