cheers lads, the only numbers i can find on it are;

sticker with ford SOUND 2000, barcode underneath and the following numbers, FD 2005 k 043 8401

then another sticker with part no. and barcode with 0523446.

????

i have found out that the code is either 868 or 686 but the radio won't let me put any numbers in

what type of radio is it? can do most types but not vauxhall/philips

Mine is one from a Citreon Berlingo Van.

I have a code for it, but when i punch it in the radio works for about 3 minutes then shuts off so i assume it is the wrong code.
If i just put in 0000 it is the same, no matter what 4 digits i put in it will stay on for a while then turn off

phillips make the vauxhall ones, can't do them because you need a lead to connect to a computer.
but most others i have the codes for.

Looking at it, it says that its been reprogramed, that was before I got it
