Might not mean much to you guys, differn't kettle of fish to the sort of things you nutters do, but it should keep me occupied throughout the summer.

I know a few of you will know what it is at first glance (Chip, Rob (his engine) Nickyboy etc etc)

Its a vauxhall C20XE, but i decided to supercharge it, just to be differn't. Its been done a few times before (http://www.tsr.nu/) on a red mk3 gsi, I'm aiming for the same sort of thing, but a few differneces like location of the TB, its going to be *Intake > AFM > Charger > Intercooler > throttle body > Inlet*

What i'll do, is get a build up of pics then post in the restoration/rebuild forum otherwise it'll be like 2 pics a month as its quite a big project for me with regard to drawing up plans for custom inlet, brackets, relocation alternator etc etc & also fitting low comp pistons, having headwork done, block blasted, refaced & honed, crank is also going to be sorted out.

So yeah, well pleased That must be the 3rd XE thats been in the boot of my astra, but this time its mine

Cheers Chip, remember i was talking to yo uabout it that night in sutton and we talked about where the TB should go? well i spoke to someone who said it should go before the charger otherwise it will be noisey trying to force air when the butterfly is shut......would a dumpvalve sort that out do you think?

Also, got a shopping list....LET pistons are on the agenda or anything low comp. i would ask Rich, but he doesn't break LET's does he? just sells them whole

P.s Cheers nuts Got to see how yours goes aswell, keep us updated

EDIT: Chip..lol just remembered. Fueling, hmmm, i sortof hit a grey area with that. The standard fuel rail intake & return hoses will foul the custom manifold, and will also be resting ontop of the charger, which i don't want

Basically what i need is a fuel rail with the inlet & return points on the ends of the rail, and an aftermarket FPR.
