Stab the Judge lol,

loads of posters mate, mainly gig posters and record shop promos,

just sold promo posters for the Pistols Anarchy and GSTQ singles and the 5ft Bollocks lp poster last week.

Got some early 80s Exploited gig posters from the Apocalypse now tour in Birmingham, got quite a few Damned ones, and some ANWL gig posters and promos for the first couple if singles. all good stuff

me bruvs probably got more of the stuff youd be into, alot of the hardcore stuff i cant listen to, its got to have some kind of tune in there somewhere.
mind you im more likely to listen to Eminem than Discharge these days

The Exploited do get played now and again though!

I'd be interested in the exploited posters...have you got a list with prices maybe and some pics/sizes?? Pm me if you like...

Clash went to.... 'gay' for my liking... doing all that reggae stuff, not that I have a problem with Reggae at all....

But for a punk band to change genre so quickly.... nah..

Much prefer proper punk stuff, Sex Pistols, Damned etc

As well as American Hardcore like the Dead Kennedys, DOA, Black Flag, Bad Brains etc

Rat Scabies was the drummer mate, Dave Vanian was the drac dude.

Have you heard of a band called Poundaflesh? they toured europe last year,
i know the drummer pretty well, hes since been kicked out the group now though.

Dave Vanian! That's right yes!

He's a biker last I heard, still sleeping in coffins and such

Go on: what does rat Scabies do nowadays and Dave Vanian and the rest?

Always a laugh what the rebels of old have turned into...sometimes they're still pretty much the same and sometimes they turn respectable

My dad got me into them, leant me the Vanilla rooms recordings disk, and although its a bit sketchy Its still good

There just one ofthose bands that i never tire of hearing, along with Pink Floyd, Oasis, the specials etc

i also like Joe Styrummers solo stuff too

Well Rat dont seem to be doing alot, i was gonna buy some of his stuff hence me
visiting him but he got some money through from something or other and didnt need to sell in the end,

Dave and Captain sens(less)ible are still touring with the Damned, Daves just had
a baby with his wife Patricia (who is the woman that was in Sisters of Mercy)!

Amazingly they still get a decent turn out so ive heard but i havent been to hear them for years.

Last punk band i went to hear was Rancid, good live band

How did you manage to blag round Rats house then mate ?

I have some nice pics of David Vanian when he had a band called Dave Vanian and the Phantom Chords...

They were superb.

Some guys I know in Bedford had a band called Viet-Love and they were the support.

By 9:30 Vanian & Co hadnt showed up and the lead singer of Viet Love was making all sorts of wise cracks about no bats in sight etc.

About 9:45 Vanian & Co, in Roman Jugg rolled in, put their gear down, changed a shirt or two and just played, no sound check or anything... they were excellent.

They wouldnt play any old Damned numbers will I think pissed of the old punk contingent...

My one regret is not going to see the Chiefs of Relief when they played in Bedford... it would have been nice to see Paul Cook.

Patricia was only 'with' the sisters for floodland I think...remember Eldritch stating that he only hired her because she was a good looking female that could hold the bass low enough

Still, she looked good!

I wonder if they'd still be any good, being older now and all that?

Wattie from the exploited is still just as insane and violent as always lol
Just way skinnier....

i was supposed to be buying some of his silver discs arranged through a mate of mine who knows him well, and Rat said i could pop down to have a butchers, so i did lives down brentford area. anyway turned out he didnt need to sell anything (until the next time hes skint )

i went to a record fair in peterboro few years back and the captain was the `star guest`, funny as fook, loads of people rifling through records and no one speakin to the cap i was chattin to him for ages and he was going on about underground trains in japan for half hour proper sound bloke though.

strangest gig i went to was a doctor and the medics mystery tour, wed seen em supporting the damned so went on this thing, had a meeting point in london and had a load of coaches that took everyone to lowestoft went into this big castle type hotel thing and the band were all in the stairway saying hello, the drummer Vom (y) said to me oi are you old enough to be in here, so i said dunno why not, im taller than you mental night, very very odd.

My one regret is not going to see the Chiefs of Relief when they played in Bedford...
shame mate, i didnt see em either, got the freedom to rock record somewhere.

got a blag into Rottens press conference at the cobden club in london in 2002 before the jubilee gig, amazing that bloke, he just rips reporters to shreds, they end up too scared to say anything, rottens mate `rambo`that ex sas bloke whos usually pissed came over to me and i thought oh fook, but he just shook my hand and started saying something, though havent a clue what he was going on about.

grabbed a few of the promo gstq cds while i was there, think ive got a spare one left if you want it?

Still, she looked good!

she did mate, she still does, or she did couple of years ago

Wattie from the exploited is still just as insane and violent as always lol
Just way skinnier....
Skinny? fook he was always a pretty stocky bloke, Animal from the ANWL runs a building firm now.

Tell you else i met, Helen Wellington Lloyd, the little woman in the Swindle pistols film, `helen of troy`shes a really nice woman, was down her house all night and she was sound as a quid, mind you shed have to be since i was buying stuff to the tune of 4 grand

ME

Clash were awesome! Just wish i was older(well not! but..) then i could have seen em!

I do agree that when they went into reggae it wasnt as good, but nevertheless for a Punk band to change to that style, and make it work is excellent in itself! Combat Rock is prob my least fave album.

Fave song got to be London Calling...but i also like Police and theives! White riot makes me fooking rock like a nutter

Rotten is ace! He was on the telly the other night stating that Sid was just another junkie arsehole that fucked up his life and many others in the process and if you want that to be your idol than what a sad cunt you are

He's a bit quick with words, must be very intelligent I reckon....
