Default caught speeding - advise please!

I was caught speeding at 35mph through a 30mph zone, thing is this was on a stretch of road thats normally 50mph, was just temporary speed limit for road works, ive been looking on the net and ive found one site that says that i should only get a fine not any points, if anyone has had experience with anything like this could you let me know becouse ive not been driving 2 years yet!

http://www.pepipoo.co.uk/Thats the site mate or argue about it and say you were doing 30mph and ask them to check your speedo, they wont becos it cost to much money and time and you may get just a fine. Its just happened to a mate of mine and he got away with it but they told him to get it check himself cos there will not let him of a 2nd time.

just thinking ive admited to my boss that i was driving the car, thing is there is nothing to say that i was at that time, do you reckon i should argue that i didnt take that route and i cant remember what time it was that the car was picked up? becouse it could of easily been the customer driving it before we picked it up?
