My o/f engine mount sheared off and ripped my two front shafts out of the cv joints which cut big chunks out of my crossmember!

Replaced both engine mounts with Vibratechnics ones and bought two new shafts, took them to Collins Engineering who machined new thicker cases onto the shafts. They told me the shafts had been used on 600+ bhp cars.

I'm pretty sure Brom from www.zoomotorsport.co.uk does uprated shafts and the mounts. If you've got the money get the gearbox mount too. These mounts handle some SERIOUS power!

The new engine mounts transformed the cars handling, better braking, launches and felt more solid overall.

Mines lowered -25mm on Konis

Sue Collins had her front shaft cut off many years back too
