Mines down infront of the gear stick, where the cassett holder is, i've blanked it off and have my switches there.
How often will you really need to push it??

(This obviously varies widely from vehicle to vehicle and engine to engine, so a full set of alterable parameters are included to optimise the performance of Launch Control for any application). Engine power is precisely reduced to meet this maximum acceleration condition by a combination of ignition retard, ignition spark cut in rotation or diminishing both fuel and spark.
These techniques produce extremely fast starts, fully automatically and with great consistency, allowing the driver more freedom to concentrate on events around him on the track.

Well I'm sure if you can mount horns on steering wheels....you can mount other things - I would think you'd need to keep a decent amount of cable coiled up slack somewhere in the middle of the wheel within the boss maybe if possible!!!

What that bit of info fails to mention is that on turbo cars it also spins up the turbo so you can get 1bar+ of boost before going anywhere, providing you have the grip to make use of it!

Adam_BlackRs,
What system are you using mate? How much it cost? And how much work is involved in mounting the system to the back wheel? Reckon it would work on a Fiesta RSt?
Sorry for all the questions!!

I'm using a Omex Rev Limiter with Lauch control. I would point you to http://www.omextechnology.co.uk/ but looks like there redisigning there website at the mo.
It doesn't work on any sensors, just a soft rev limiter which you set at what ever RPM you want.

Steering Wheel, and as pointed out, you only need to leave a bit of slack and coil it loosely around the steering column.
Just do a full lock to lock and check you dont have too much cable (moves around with possibility of catching on something) and not enough (goes taught when you get near full lock).
Never had any problems doing this, and dont it with wiring on various cars for years...
