Default series 1 box into a FRST???

I am soon to be purchasing a series one gearbox, thats a bit special....

I know it will mount to my block but how will i mount it into my car??! been told its quite ease by to modify and fit...

i have bought a spare FRST box just in case its alot of work?? then i can have the series 1 box completely re-built into the FRST one.....

if anyone can tell me anything on how to fit, i'd be well greatful...

cheers in advance

Direct replacement.

Just make sure you use the right studs in the box!

studs are bolts with a thread on one end, and another thread on the other end!

I think what Jano means is the studs at the back of the box, they will prob need changing over.

You can fit a S1 box into a FRST or S2 but not S2or FRST box into a S1. My bro fitted his old Onion up with a S1 box. Improved things dramatically
