Subaru STi V5 Type R??
Has anyone driven one of these?? I know there are shiteloads of different STi's, WRX's, fookin limited edition here there and everywhere! ( 
) but have been told that the STi V5 Type R are one of the best ones bar the 22b. Am I right or are they a load of old dog poo?! How quick are they in standard form against a standard taxi of 3 door??

The sti type R is sooo much better than the wrx with the adjustable centre diff and the higher rev limit, I found the wrx boring with the 50 / 50 split. If I was ever to get another scooby It would be the sti type r. Never been in a 22b so cant comment on them.

Version 6 is the best by all accounts. M8 had one and was an awseome car.
Now got a wrx ra and he says is the better car stronger engine, lighter, no spoiler lol, best of asking on scoobynet as im confusing myself here
Lads at scoobyclinic say they prefer the v6 to the 22b.

Friend of mine is big into scoobies - and nearly bought a version 5 instead of his 22b. It looks well, being 2 door, and is v light weight. They go like hell, i know Stu loves em. Not a 22B though, but nearly...

It was blimming excellent! i absolutely loved it! i drove karls 22b a while ago and tbh didnt seem too different.....
i think the v5 sti is about 300-320 bhp...cant remember cos he had a few bits done to it and it was the limited edition v spec but it was fun!
the r means its a 3dr and ra means 5 door .... go for it hun and ill show ya how to drive it!!!
