I know, i know, the log book is the big downfall. No rust etc but the shell is not a cossie shell (is in better nick than most cossie shells ).

Still worth a try though, has been very well done

Not being funny but i don't think this is going anywhere unless you get a lot more realistic about its value! There maybe someone out there who just has to have it because of its unusual appearance but i bet that person hasn't got a minimum of 6k to spend on it

Why would they have to spend 6k on it? what price do you think is realistic then?

if it doesnt sell i may brake it....how much would it be worth in bits?

My mistake change that to 5.5k as this is what your starting bid must be!
I just can't see anyone paying that for what is essentialy a rep but time will tell. Good luck with it and i hope i am wrong

Don't suppose anyone would post it in the for sale section for me would they?

I could re advertise it on ebay as "spaceship for sale"

Shouldn't have thought that this would be a problem to someone who knows what the score is with proffesional conversions etc, at least you've been honest mate!

Good Luck with the sale Nice Ad

the part i would be more concerned about is the insurance valuation

apart from that the car is very very clean and its true deffo one of the cleanest cossies about

give it a shot on ebay and then worst comes to the worst look at breaking it for the least hassle weay of selling cars

but tbh loads of people buy things that are interesting, 10k for the mk4 escort with a cossie engine spadge bought, thats alot of money but was sold

good luck

Yeah a lot of people have a hard time paying Ł5,500 for real saff cossies so I wouldnt think there will be many people out there that will pay that for a replica
.But you never know if that one person comews along who just has to have it....funnier things have happened, no one can fault ya honesty though.
And yeah the Max Power readers will be falling over themselves to speak to you

Good Luck Mate.

Bit of a difference here though Ginge as that Gartrac had just had upwards of 10k spent on the engine and wasn't competing with other similar cars!

Rhys who has said they want it for nothing on this thread??

The reason i mentioned i didn't think it had a hope of selling on ebay for over 5.5k is based purely on its description BUT like i also said there are people out there that may have several thousand to spend on something different just like i did with the Gartrac but i suspect the sort of people who would like to own it won't!

spadge i was using the gartrac as a example as people mention its alot for the car ect

but it was suited for you and ya enjoyed it

the best example should have been the guy who bought the mfi body kitted car for 3k

ya get what i mean though, not trying to offend

good luck with it, but i when first thought about selling mine on ebay, I got to 4k with 3-4days to go, when i pulled it off (started at 2.5k i think), but through that advert i actually sold some parts when i broke it.

good luck, i would relist it with a reserve to atteact buyers
