Default Smoking on tick-over - advice please b4 track day tomorro

Just getting my track car ready for a track day tomorrow (Nissan 200 sx S13), ok so its not a Cossie but my 'other' car's a Cossie so I'm gonna ask for some help anyway!!.

Its just started smoking, only on tickover, getting clouds of white oil smoke. As soon as we drive off its fine, and there's no smoke under acceleration.

Anyone technical know what this is likely to be, and if its the turbo oil seels will it last for another days use or its it about to go pop?

Need some advice as the track day is already booked for tomoro, not sure whether to risk it.

thanks for any advice.

HI,

If you have the engine hot, let it tick over for about 5,min's, and rev it up to about
3500,4000rpm and if it smokes , turbo seals, could also be valve seals but they
would need to be well worn, normally get a puff of smoke from starting from overnight, oil getting in to the combustion chamber, sometimes if you wait 5/10mins with engine off oil warm and start up you will get a puff again, but for a lot of smoke i would go for turbo seals,
check the air filter is not to dirty as this can cause a vacuum and draw the seals out,
also check you oil return from the turbo to sump is not restricted.
hope this helps.
