When Maggie was in power most of these 'foreigners' that are coming over here were locked into their own countrys as they were still in the eastern block! Hardly Blaire's fault that that has all changed since is it!

Question for you all!

Secret ballot???

When I voted tonight the procedure was as follows:- goto room which corresponds with your street, the registrar then takes your card checks for name on the electrol roll, writes a number on your ballot paper then hands you it to go vote.

Where is the confidentiality/Secret ballot given that there is a number on your ballot paper which inturn relates to your name & address?

I guess its their way of making sure every vote is tied to a person entitled to vote to avoid rigging?

the dirty reds might be winning now but we've only heard from their strong seats, still a long way to go.

it won't be long until the asain parties grow big and take over this country, whilst we all sit back and politely watch it happen

The Cons were hardly thrifty in the spending on wars department from what i remember
no she wasn't thrifty, but she spent money fighting a war to protect british citizens on british ground...not making up a load of bollox so we could steal somebodies oil

I'm a numpty then Pugo and i bow down to your intelect
What i do remember is buying a house for 122k in 88 with an intrest rate of circa 5% and by late 89 it being 15%
probably best you do, if you still believe it was maggie's fault and not the fault of the greedy people buying and selling houses for large profits and paying fook all tax on it and expect an economy to sustain it during the largest worldwide recession since the depression of the 30's.......if labour was in you not only would of had a 15%mortgage rate but would have a 90p in the pound super tax bracket
do you realise that in 1985 only 5% of the uk population were into the higher 40% income tax bracket.......but due to a tony stealth tax now 42% of the uk population are exceeding it........thats some revenue.............all disguised as a no tax increase policy
