I have now bypassed the box but when the car comes on boost it splutters and misses. + The wiring on top of the tank is getting hot. So cant drive now. Ford wants Ł200+ for a new Fuel Sender Unit.

sort it out for fook sake!

A WRC pump with all that crap taken off will sort you right out! I have used this setup on around 5-6 mk5/6 escorts all produce minimum 240bhp

Jano_OddKidd, Are you using a STD tank? But with a different Fuel Sender Unit and pump then?

Thanks Ollie

In short, i use either a ERST Tank or put a swirl pot inside the mk5 tank if it does not have one already. If you use the MK5 tank i use a WRC pump modded to fit and work in your type tank.

The connections on your tank and fiesta's etc.. are always playing up due to heat and bad connections etc...

The best way i have found so far is with external pump.

The STD unit can be modded very easy to work with the WRC pump and sender unit.

I have worked out that the fuel pressure regulator was turned all the way in from when I had my 1.4 fuel pump. So when the cosworth pump was installed I was running stupid fuel pressure. So looks like I need to get resetup with this new pump. Or get just get the fuel pressure regulator setup as I only got my car setup at power engineering just over a month a go.

Thanks For your help Jano
