Default HELP NEEDED NOW!!!!!!

Im taking engine out of my 4x4 sapphire cosworth and am about ready to pull it out but not sure whats the best way to disconect drive shafts etc from sump!!!

Advise please chaps???

Drop the lot on the floor inc sub frame!
If you try to get it out from above your going to have to loosen the sub frame anyway to get the front diff past it so you may as well do it from underneath!

Left shaft schould just go out. Right one - you need to remove bottom cover of the diff and take the circlip out if it wan't removed like on mine. Then you just remove 3 bolts and braket that hold it into the sump and take it out - might need some force..

Is there another way without removing bottom cover on diff??

Drop the whole lot out then go about removing everything.

Mine on the way out (crap picture,sorry )

Well what a bitch that was to do, just got in now!!!!

Nothing would go right for me so ended up with crossmember and brakes etc off and pulled engine out with sump, diff and front prop onit!!!

Got to get new lump back in!!!! gonna be a nightmare i expect!!

That is the best way to do it John. Drop the whole lot on the floor and strip the bits off on the floor...

You will probilly find it will go in easier. You have no seized bolts ect to mess you around plus everything should be nice and clean. Just get a mate to come round and give you a hand with lining up everything as you hoist it up into place
