Question on MSN version 7
Before you log in and you hit the "appear offline" tag before you actually sign in, can anyone see you do this as I've got a horrible feeling that others can see you sign in, then appear offline more or less straight away. If so I've been rumbled big time in avoiding someone

when you sign in as "appear offline" does it show you loged on first of all then off line?

yeah u can set it so it ALWAYS logs in as appear offline or u can just hit sign then quicky click appear offline before it signs u in and as long as u do that before it signs nobody will see u.
or like joris said, just block the person and u can appear online to everyone except that person(u can still see when there on aswell)
