Default T04B vs T04E

Does anyone know what the difference is?

Which one is the RS500 one based on?

Moose, I think there's also a wide variety of trims on the compressor & turbines too for both of those turbo designations.....

but why the E and B designation? must be an obvious difference.

Moose

The to4/b is not as laggy as the To4 e , The Rs500 one is the To4/e and the To4/b was used on the rs200

the to4/b wouldn't make the same power as a to4/e

T4B and T4E means nothing really but the general compressor housing size.

T4Bs have 2.75" inlets and 1.75" outlets

T4Es have 3" in and 2" out.

T4Ss have 4" in and 2.5" out

T4H (that i got) have 4" in and 3" out

RS500 T4s are NOT T4s...

They have T4E compressor housing and a T3 style exhaust housing...

They are T3/4s like EscCossie turbos (which use T4B style compressors IIRC)

T3/04B is early 'large' EsCos turbo
