was driving along today and saw one on the other side of the road
catching people with the camera at the back doors,just wondering if they
have cameras on the front of the van inside the cab was doing about 50 in a 40 hope they dont

My old man got done the other week, by a van on the opposite side of a dual carraigeway, with the camera in the back... Didnt think they could do it like that!?

They can do you if you have gone past the van, he can just pan across from one side of the road to the other. If you hit the brakes before going past him (when you came towards the front of the van), you should be ok

If you take your front no. plate off, but keep it in your car with the excuse it dropped off, the vans can't ping ya, and they can't bust ya for no plate too

 

...They can't give you points, but they can fine you.

 

Not the first time, can only give ya a warning, its the same as havin a bulb out.

 

And at the end of the day, its still damage limitation, fine for no plates, or gettin busted for doin whatever speed.

 

Be warned those vans can see you tax disc too! A mate was done in a company van at 66 on a dual carrage way, they knew from the tax disc!

Meant to say the van was missing its front plate!

PS vans have to do 10 mph less on all roads after 30 limits (we now know, to his surprise)

 

ok ya sure they never just made a note of the reg as he passed as thats what there doig for bikes, if they cant see a reg then take a not of the plate and then nick ya.

theres no chance they can see the reg number on a tax disc, they might see a s/n but then i fold mine over to get out of parking tickets too anyway

they do right a note of the vehicle reg of all the cars who pass woith no plate speeding though

got mine off anyway just incase and keep the rear plate as dirty as possable
