Default cosworth injectors

hi does anybody know if small turbo escort injectors will fit into a 2wd saph inlet and fuel rail? does anybody have the injectors for sale?

why not just buy some proper ones, theres loads for sale on ebay etc, they are different part numbers but thats all i know

They will fit but you WILL need a remap as they are NOT the same as big turbo standard injectors.

For a start, they are the wrong resistance for the ecu and will require different pulse widths to get fuelling correct.

im trying to do a turbo conversion on a mk5 rs2000. i have cut and shut the 2wd inlet and fuel rail to fit now i find out 2wd injectors have low impendence and will fry the ecu!

I see. In that case, yes the small turbo injectors are what you need IF you keep the standard ecu.

They have identical fittings and do look very similar.
You will have NO problems physically fitting them !

just came across a omex ballast resistor that coverts high to low! anybody know if this will run with the rs2000 ecu? (im bl**dy detemand to run cossy injectors without buying a after market ecu)

Running low impedance injectors with a ballast resistor will be MARGINAL on the EEC4 ecu.
Also, this will reduce injector efficiency which will make them HARDER to map.
