Need garage to fit new rear bushes and Mike rainbird shims..
Hi I can't get my car booked in at Zoo so I need another garage to do it.
I need uprated bushes fitted and mike rainbirds shim kit on my Esc Cos.
I would like it done tommorow or saturday if pos.

ps any garage within 150 miles of Preston, Lanc's will do.

looks like Iam going to have to do it myself as usual
I suppose if we can strip the engine out and rebuild it some rear bushes shouldn't be a problem.

Dave, not my garage but a very good mates . I changed all 6, you can,t see the other 2 in that pic. I was told afterwards that i shouldn't have done all of them, but i've had no probs.

do what loyed has done and fit a bling beam
dingle is right thow it wont make much diffance
ya can only shim a 1mm or so max after the the abs teeth on output shaft run on the trailing arm

They go behind the two rearward bolts, and add some toe in to the rear wheels.
Whether or not they make any difference I don't know.

please explain to me why a car with negative camber that is wearing the tyres on the inner edge would benefit from more toe in ? would that not just accelerate the wear on the inner edge?

i got a really good write up some where i acuttly did about f1 cars and there settings i will dig it out
