That truely is mental!!! niiiiiiice!
i saw that at castle combe last year, said it was 930 bhp back then! so they done a bit more work!!

all that power, and Norris Evo with less power is AS quick to 1/4 mile..
ANd his is road legal and uses normal fuel! bit strange int it.

That must have been the times from the old spec, with 1100 bhp I would have thought sub 10's would be a breeze??

sorry that was at 940bhp, and it was 10.2 sec, what the fuck is it with 1100bhp, having said that it goes to show how fast that blue escort was at the pod last week

aye but its terminal is 147mph, that shows how hard it is to get off the line without spinning like fook, and it also shows just how fast it is once rolling, the terminal speed gives more of an idea of how fast a car is than th 1/4 mile times

oh ok, didnt look at it like that, i would have thought that being 4x4 it would be ok off the line, but then i didnt take into account that it also has 1100bhp going through them lol

Yes, old spec, its only just had the extra work done to it, inc binning the wank old Greddy T88 and got a turbo made after WW2

147mph terminal speed shows even in the old spec it was mental power.

Its widely regarded that you need a genuine 1000bhp to get a 1400kg car to do 155mph terminals, and i bet that things not tons less than that and was only 8mph off in the old T88 spec where it wouldve had no more than about 850bhp IMO

Forget ET its terminal speeds that show how fast a car is...

It looks an awesome car, but did you see the mag feature where they tested that against (I think) a Standard FQ300 and the FQ400 and there was practically naff all between any of them?

You think a FQ whatever can pull 147mph terminals? No, me either
Lucky to get into the 120s. 20-30mph terminal speed difference is a slight bit more than naff all Difference between a std cossie and a 500bhp one

If it was a "real" T88 and not a Trust/Greddy one then itd REALLY be big, anything upto 1700bhp

My turbo is bigger than most versions of the Trust/Greddy T88.

The turbonetics they got on it now is a proper big weapon tho.

Wicked car, love it... methanol is properly pokey stuff as Sean would say

Car will do some huge things this year. If you look at the in gear times that it produced when track and Race tested it you can see what a monster it was and now its got more power!

Coooool car

The 0-150mph is a misprint... But its still SILLY fast

go to www.rcdevelopments.com to see pics, video and specs of the car...

personally i would expect much much more from such specs... However the car is amazing. I love the exhaust...

i think they tried to break reylands tow record and they blew the engine, some time ago... and martins r.i.p.'ed escos was very close in performance figs with much much less specs...

Lots of respect to this EVO but i reckon the Reyland 2 escos to be faster...

It was Norris designs evo towing the caravan but not Simon Norris driving I think

That RC evo is crazy, I haven't seen it run on methanol yet, when it was up the pod it was on normallish fuel, and apparently only about 800bhp,

Norris designs evo just seems to dig in and grip off the line, where as the RC evo seems to go light and float its way up the 1/4, serious power

and as the magazine feature shows, how fast to 150mph

mental
