The block is drilled in no time actually. Really soft cast material. I have done this with my car when I installed the Megasquirt'n'spark extra management.

You can use the CPS and pully teeth from a 1.8 CVH EFI Sierra

Other side ????

Got a pulley here and a lathe in work or else I would have just bought it from Jano

Whilst were on the subject, what did you do about the alternator ? change it to a sierra one or just swap the pulley's over ?

Outta side to be machined, and yes... you need to lower the engine to fit...

I have got a complete post when i did the conversion myself but it seems to have disappeared...

Anyway, with the alternator.... you need the 1.8 CVH EFI Sierra alternator bracket with 4-5mm machined off the left side of it, adjustable arm and pully...
