Default 2wd cossie clutch question

alright guys. i was out the other night in me 2wd cossie & thought i would try launching in 2nd. held it at 4 1/2 dumped the clutch, span like a mother fu**er. now though the bite is right at the top.is my clutch fu**ed or could it be the cable. it's got a 4 paddle in it,it's only been in for about 18 months. hope it ain't fooked cause i was hoping to go down the strip @ the fordsport weekender. any advice appreciated

Sounds like it may have over adjusted itself on the clutch ratchet!
Try lifting the pedal up with your foot and it should click. Then just press it down a few times and it should re-adjust itself.

Why did you want to launch in second?? And why did you ride the clutch?
I take it that's what you ment by 1/2 dumped clutch.
It must of stunk, could be the ratchet, either that or youve fooked the rabit huch.
