Default Studs.

And no i aint talking about Paddy

Manifold studs, took the exhaust manifold off and some studs came out and some nuts came off.

Why??

I was expecting just the nuts to come off, but instead i got some studs too

How do i put them in with out the nuts on'em as i'm replacing all the nuts with new ones.

Default studs

Locktite and a pair of pliers on the unthreaded shank or two nuts on the outside thread locked together to put studs back in, if you cant release the nuts of the old studs use new ones.

oh.. in answer to the question..

screw two nuts on to a stud, then screw the stud in, and tighten the furthest out nut..

this will tighten the stud in to the head

please take note, im pretty pissed so this might be bollocks!
