2003 Facelift TD5 S in Silver - Ready for anything!
Due to getting a company car delivered, I have my Discovery 2003 TD5 S up for sale as I cannot have 3 cars on the drive for myself. The discovery as good as it is, isn't my main enjoyment so it's off to a new owner.
A rundown of the spec:
Facelift 2003 Discovery TD5 in Silver.
MOT 31st March 2016 - No advisories at previous MOT.
15p Engine with no running issues.
124500 miles.
Full set of 2 remote central locking keys.
Service history and plenty of receipts for work done.
Chassis is not rotten and in excellent never welded condition. I had intended on painting this prior to sale but would prefer the buyer to see it as is for peace of mind.
Dark grey/black cloth interior without the usual driver seat wear.
Aftermarket electric tilt/slide sunroof that does NOT leak.
Rear SLS air suspension with height raise button.
ABS and Traction Control (Fully working! without any warning lights)
Heated front screen.
Heated electric power folding mirrors.
Rear cubby storage boxes instead of the fold out seats.
No ACE or Air-conditioning.
Cruise control (retro-fitted with OEM equipment).
Here is a list of preventative maintenance that has been done with all new parts.
New clutch and flywheel and rear crank seal (Previous owner on here, who will confirm the work).
New in-tank fuel pump.
Injector seals.
Injection loom.
Sump gasket.
Rocker cover gasket.
New alternator.
VDO/Siemens MAF sensor.
Braided brake hoses and full brake fluid flush.
OAT coolant change.
Silicone boost hoses.
New suspension airbags (Old ones provided as spares).
Front and rear diff input seals.
Uprated exhaust manifold studs.
EGR Delete.
Stainless steel De-cat downpipe, mid section and stainless steel back box.
Full oil and filter service in readiness for the new owner.
Here are the upgrades:
Fully tailored water proof seat heavy duty covers.
Rear load lining tray with removable carpet inlay.
Rear dog guard with storage shelf.
Auxiliary battery with digital display split charge system and a Varta Redtop battery.
2" Medium duty lift springs on the front.
2" Lift blocks for the rear airbags.
Terrafirma +2" dampers all round.
Uprated standard height tubular front suspension turrets.
Terrafirma steering damper.
Bearmach heavy duty steering guard.
QT front and rear wrap-around diff guards.
200tdi rear prop mod (Brand new prop and flange).
Safari style snorkel with fully sealed intake pipe work.
16" Modular steel wheels with 265/75/16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tyres (Less than 2000 miles old).
Wheelnut checkpoint indicators.
JVC MP3/Bluetooth CD head unit with full hand-free bluetooth telephone installation.
NAS spec cup holders.
Front and Rear headlight guards - Genuine Landrover.
LED main beam headlight bulbs.
LED front foglights.
LED 7" Spotlights.
Genuine Landrover rubberised A-bar.
LED reversing spot lights.
LED Interior lights.
Discovery Sport wing vents with LED side repeaters.
Rear side windows and alpine windows vinyl wrapped in black (Can be removed) for load privacy.
Ball and Jaw type towball.
As I won't be needing any spares anymore, I have to go with the car the following spares free to the new owner:
Series K R380 gearbox and LT230 transfer case with CDL (purchased for the CDL with intension to retro-fitting it).
De-webbed exhaust manifold - perfectly flat and only as a spare.
Original TD5 rear prop and donut.
EGR system.
Anything else I find!
It will come fully cleaned inside and out and ready for the new owner to enjoy!
Please PM me if interested or contact me on 07900132165 (my work phone, I can't reply to txt messages so please call - if I can't answer, leave a voicemail and I will call you back from my personal number)
Cheers
Paul
Also, if the new owner is interested, I have for free with the Discovery a garden trailer - Ideal for shifting garden rubbish to the tip (which I have been using it for) - Plated to 400kg and was one a trailer tent - New car doesn't have a tow-bar so I won't be needing this.
The bodywork is in excellent condition with no dents or major scratches, The only bit that lets it down is the front bumper corners could do with a re-paint from a previous A-bar which ran the full width of the bumper.
So you'll be wondering what the price is for all this. I'm asking £4500 Or nearest sensible offer.
I'm located near Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
I'm not desperate to sell as I don't need the money, more the space it takes up.
I appreciate that adding things to a car doesn't increase the value of it. I paid more for the Disco last year as a near standard vehicle hence asking a sensible price.
