Default Strange oil leak (CVH)

Ever since i removed and replaced my rockers cover the other week I have noticed the car has been using/losing a large amount of oil. Ever since then i've noticed i'm forever topping the car up with oil. But i'm sure it cant be losing that much oil through the gasket (1800 cvh rubber one). After central day i noticed the oil was back down to just below min despite adding more oil before leaving the pod! There was a large amout on top of the rocker rim and around the gasket but nothing dripping under the car.
The car also smokes a bit at the moment but thats due to the blown turbo throwing 3 litres of oil down the exhaust at the beds track day a few weeks ago which is gradualy decreasing every time i take the car out (for example there are no more oil splatter marks on the rear bumper) so it cant be chucking it out the back.

I'm just not convinced that so much oil can be escaping from between the rocker and the head?!?! It goes from middle of max/min to below min in a 12 mile trip! now thats alot of oil. But when sitting on the drive, it doesn't drip at all!!

grr its driving me mad lol Any ideas people?
Cheers,
Dan

nooooooooo

Other than rings, what else can course a car to burn bucket loads of oil? (i really dont think it is as it simply isn't puffing out much at all now).

Cheers,
Dan
