Overcoming fears.....Or strange Phobia's
I have just opened a can of tuna and given some to the cat 'eddi'
Thing is HATE the smell of it, HATE the look of it and to be honest i didnt even like touching the can.........
I would go as so far to say tuna is one of my phobias....it is now sat on the side and im trying to make myself try a little bit....I go to the gym quite a bit and all people i know who train eat lots and lots of tuna due to the nil carbs and the high protein and omega 3 oils......
Anyone else have stupid phobias like this.....

i cant even look at any snake on the tv never mind in real life. i fooking hate them, they scare the shit out of me. 2 of me mates joke all the time they fancy getting a "pet" snake. little do they realise that i know they both just as scared of spiders(this is a girly phobia!!) than i am of snakes. so if either of them come near me witha snake of any size, i'll be straight down the pet shop for a fook off trantula, the pair of coonts

I can't touch a dry sponge, even the thought of it makes me feel queesy. It's a nitemare when washing the cars have to soak it with the hose before I can lift it. Sometimes my g/f will come and rub a dry sponge out the bathroom down my arm when I'm not looking. Its horrible am sweating even thinking about it.

I don't like cotton wool or wet jumpers or woolon garments. They seem to posses a "squeeky" quality which goes straight through me. I can touch them but dont enjoy it. How weird is that!
My mate has a real phobia of needles, so much that he faints whenever he goes to the dentist. The fear has migrated to a fear of dentists also now and last time he went to have his teeth pollished he fainted. Poor fook.

This thread makes my old phobia seem almost normal. Had a major phobia of flying after taking a bad flight. Took me 5 years and several trips to Heathrow (bastid parking cost me a fortune and didnt even go anywhere! ) to get over it. Have now flown to Australia 4 times, all over oz internally and about to fly back to the UK shortly.
My tip, sometimes things are definately not what they seem. Taste that Tuna and you may just like it.
