Car people and football..........
Been wondering this for ages after seeing a few posts recently....
Do you reckon it's true in general that if you're into cars, then you despise football?
I know there a few exceptions on the board, but I think in general it's true/
I think it might also to apply to all sport and exercise too!

I am NOT a fan... but then nor is my dad (my mum however is a sports obsessive - she's the only person I know who will watch every single game of the Euro\World Cups)
And she supports Man U.
Sad.
Looking at it though in my close little lot: DaveyBoy and Waps are all into cars not football (unless it's England and it's in a pub) whereas Martin and Billy are complete opposites.. you could be bang on the money there Luv

Dunno if its true across the board, but im not particularly into football, never have been really. Other than inter/National games when i don my england shirt and go on the lash lol
That said, i am into other forms of sport and exercise though.

I got me season ticket, play twice a week, and love cars too. But I'm also an exeption to most rules anyways

I watch most sports (even the yank stuff) and have been a Man City fan since being a boy! Don't participate in any now though as am a lazy, overweight, typical cossie driver nowadays

I'm fanatical about both 
this is my 10th year straight as a season ticket holder and always followed the Town since i was about 6!
My dad loves his cars but was never into football, i'm slowly converting him now though

Man Utd fan, love them since before the days of Mike Phelan, when i used to collect the fifa stickers. And also love cars and Bikes....Spend pretty much all my time driving or riding something with an engine...Trained at college as a mechanic.....So vehicles of all sorts interest me

Not at all, I used to be a massive footy fan and still go down to the pub and watch the games whenever I can..
One of my mates knows absolutely everything about football and he is also well into his cars, with a degree in motorsport engineering!

a few yrs ago (about 6yrs now) i used to play sunday league and for another team as well, lots of it, always have done, but two bad injuries on my knee, (1 needed steriod injections to get it moving again, and 1 2 footed tackle on my knee) ended my playing days so just watched footie, but just started playing 5 a side again, (although most of my skills have disapeared initally, slowly coming back, i still have a killer first touch)

I love cars. I like some other sports very much (almost became pro tennis player in fact) but I really despise football and some others (like boxing)
