Default Best ET for Esccos?

I'm looking to have some rim special made for my car and wondered what the best ET/backspacing would be for a set of 8 inch wide rims?

ET 25 as per original wheels or ET15 will be fine and fill the arches out a little bit more

I always thought that ET is important for handling but I can see it's more important for bling bling

8'' wide rim is the same as standard wheel that ws intended for this car. So standard ET is all I would want but some say slightly smaller ET is nice for tarmac handling... Don't see how this could have anything to do with clearance if you stay with direct raplacement size of the whole wheel compared to standard one.

I talking on standard replacement -> 16'' - 18'' but the same wheel diameter. With proper tyre you have the same wheel clearance as standard. Or I don't get the whole thing.
