Default Nissan Juke 2016 battery replacement - stop/start coding

Morning all, the birds Juke 1.2 petrol needs a battery, anyone know if they need to be coded or can you just fit an new one and be done with it?
Not seen her for a few weeks due to this Corona virus, but she works for the NHS as a 999 call taker... didnt realise but she has been walking everywhere for a week.
Thought she had booked it into kwikfit but obviously not.
was thinking if i can get a battery i can shoot over and stick it on while she is at work... but i cant code it if required.

cheers!

Not sure on your girlfriends Nissan Duke but on earlier models it is just a straight forward in/out with no codes to worry about. Why not ask her if she has the handbook which should have the information about a battery change? Well done to her, she has an important role in the NHS.

Ah balls, wasn't sure so she got the AA out who came same day and done it could have saved her Ł50 with a battery from Euro's
was a Bosch stop/start battery fitted

cheers guys, at least I know for next time.
Batteries are a bit of a black art these days as some still need coding even when the car doesn't have s/s

stay safe people

GVK What a pain in the arse that is!!! No simple DIY quick in/out any more on some cars!! Some new cars are being designed now so the owner HAS to take it to the dealer for what used to be simple jobs that you could easily do your self!!
