Default solar powered battery chargers

I'm laying the cabrio up for the winter later this month, mainly to keep the shi%e blackpool weather off it, but while its off the road will be doing some upgrades an maintenance,

Which leads me to "solar powered battery chargers"

They claim to keep battery topped up etc, has anyone had any experiance of these?

I will be startin the car every couple of weeks and letting it run to full temp at various rpm, till fans been on an off

from what i have seen of these they need at least 6 hours sunlight to work 100%

would see what the rateing it can charge at, then check to see if hte car has any drain on it with ignition off, if the drain matches what the solar charger can do i wouldnt bother (or fix the drain lol)

If you're gonna start it every couple of weeks I wouldn't bother getting one. Just disconnect the battery in between.
