Any that do import them from the US anyway, and almost nobody keeps any stock.
And they work out a fucking fortune. Last pair of Hoosiers I got were a little over £600 for a pair. Some more common size may be a bit cheaper
Or you can try Summit, sometimes postage doesnt work out too mental.

yes....a 285 35 19 is quite steep....that explains why google was bringing up american ebay and US suppliers...am looking for a pair of smaller wider 18 inch alloys just for quarter mile day ...

Unless you're going to a drag strip, ie Santa Pod, I really wouldnt get too worked up about it.
Is it really worth spending £600 for a pair of tyres ? That really wont last long either ?
But I would consider something cheaper and more suited to those sizes, likes of this.
https://www.bm-motorsport.de/en/tyre...285/35-r18-vrc
Or I'm currently using these.

Although they keep blabbing on facebook about other models with a higher treadwear rating but potentially more grip....but they never seem to appear on the website for sale.
Both are cheap enough that if you wanted to do burnouts, you wouldnt care too much, and they're readily available without sourcing from the US.
And in many respects I'd say they would be better suited for the likes of Crail. Plus you can legally drive on them in the UK.
But for likes of Santa Pod, a good Hoosier, MT or Nitto are hard to beat.
the Nitto 555R's would probably do well for airfields too, but you're back to insane prices.

I prefer them better than the R888R I had on before, which I thought pretty disappointing. And they wore ridiculously fast.
All round I think the TriAce are spot on, although would like to try this new unicorn 140AA rated tyre. Or that Extreme VCR, although their UK supplier doesn't seem to list it on their site.
Although with the Extreme being a remould, high speeds might be a concern. But a lot of guys hillclimbing and sprinting on them etc, seem to rate the Extreme VR2's highly.
On an airfield, and on normal type road tyres such as the above, fastest I ever managed were on the Westlake Sport RS. Another relatively cheap drift/sporty tyre.
Although I do often wonder...when so many people rate Michelin Pilot Sports etc so highly...are a lot of the above types of tyres really much better than them ? if at all.
