I have decided to sell my S2 as i am trying to save up enough money to move, the car would make a great winter project for someone who has a bit more time and money to put into it

the car has a full 12 month MOT and 6 months tax

the car is a 90 spec RST, i have owned it for 2 years and in this time i have bought (and have reciepts for)

full engine rebuild
JE forged pistons +1mm oversize
Jamsport Steel rods
new big ends/mains
reground crank
Piper 285t2 high boost cam
stem seals/valves lapped/lifters etc replaced
Turbo technics stage 2 T3
brand new black front mount intercooler and twin 7" Spal fans

Cosworth yellow injectors
Scorpion full system with 4" rolled tailpipe
ferriday engineering MFI to EFI adaptor plate
Ford motorsport rs1600i rocker cover
Bailey oil seperator
fiesta turbo throttle body and pedal conversion
new starter motor
new water pump
new high pressure oil pump
custom polished inlet manifold and boost pipe (totally one off)
roose motorsport full silicone hose set
reconditioned gearbox
AP clutch
Team dynamics Monza R 16" alloy wheels and 4 nearly new tyres
tarox grooved discs and pads

mapped by Jamie going to around 200bhp although the yellow injectors are maxed out, he has said the car will make arouond 220bhp with bigger injectors

i have only driven the car for about 4000 miles since the full rebuild and the car was garaged last winter, it was resprayed a few years ago and the locks and bumpers were smoothed, it has clear repeaters and a cut out front bumper.

the bad bits -
the alarm does not work properly, it has an aftermarket Toad system which will lock and operate it will just not open! as the door locks are smoothed you have to climb in through the boot but there are several wires that have come off from the back of the alarm when i was fitting the gotech so im sure it could be an easy fix.

there are a few rust bubbles appearing on the bodywork and around the fuse box, it has had a new battery tray and all welding was done prior to MOT so although the shell is not perfect it is very solid.
the car was broken into and there is a small dent in the drivers door, the rust and damage are hardly noticeable and the overall colour comes up well.

the car has also started to smoke when cold, I ran the car today and it has now started to burn water aswell ie turbo is gone, it was bought new 4000 miles ago but a lifter went on the car and i think the worn bits of it have damaged the turbo seals, it will require a rebuild hence low price

due to these small problems i want around £2200 for the car whichi think is fair for an rst of this spec and with full MOT

Whats the owners, milage and any history with the car. What welding was done for the mot, also where is the rust. cheers

it has done 119,000 miles although it has been resprayed, not sure of owners i will find out though, it has a patch of welding either side on the sills and there are only small bubbles of rust on the paint and fuse box
