HELP ford sierra oil lamp

Hello i have a problem when i switch to long lights the oil lamp goes on they are next to each other and goes on at the same time as the blue light from the long lights.. Oil is normal level
Its a 92 2.0dohc ford sierra

It sounds like the oil lamp is being earthed with the main beam WL.
I think the main beam warning light is switched ground.
You would have to remove the cluster, check the tracks on it to ensure there is no physical connection between the main beam WL and the oil lamp.
Issues like these are typically always age related, with poor earthing.
