hi i have a problem with my mk3 mondeo the door locks have gone mad you unlock the doors and get in and the doors will sometimes lock on there own ,,when you turn the car off the door locks go completey mad opening and closing at will turning the alarm on and off they just go out of control so much i had to take the battery off to stop it
any ideas it seems to fight the key when trying to lock it but i have no idea what to do

whats happing is one of the locks insn't fully moving to the opposite position so it goes back it then doesn't got back fully that way so it goes back again, oil all the lock mechinisms and pivot points or look to see which one is slower than the rest and oil that, and all should be well

Just to add, I had similar lock problems on my Mk2 Mondeo and back then few owners did the same, oil the locks to clear all dirt/crap out and it sorted it.
