Default Mot Advisory advise need

Looking at a ford puma the body work looks good shape but it has folllowing advisorys with Expired MOT guy wants £550 for it but for me expired mot with this many advisorys from a year ago seems like major cause for concern....
  1. Oil leak, but not excessive (8.4.1 (a) (i))
  2. Front Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened both (1.1.14 (a) (ii))
  3. Rear Vehicle structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced inner both sides (6.1.1 (c) (i))
  4. Front Lower Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement both sides (5.3.4 (a) (i))
  5. Front Coil spring corroded and rear both sides (5.3.1 (b) (i))
  6. Offside Front Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material (1.1.11 (c))
  7. Front Tyre slightly damaged/cracking or perishing both (5.2.3 (d) (i))
  8. slight play in both rear macpherson top assembly bushes
  9. Stop lamp(s) non-obligatory stop lamp not working centre (4.3.1 (a) (ii))
Oil leak was there last service stamp was 2008 but the guy insist just forgotten to stamp the book over the years hmmmmm

i was going to barter him down to £200 due to no mot issue but before i do is it even worth the time? the only thing going for it is the mint body work no rust on the rear arches like so many i've looked at

It's not a £550 car imo, I bought one earlier this year for £300 2002 model with long MOT but clutch was slipping and had rust in ALL the usual places.
For me, buying one of these, rust would be the absolute most important thing to look out for. The one your looking at that's had previous advisories for corrosion and now has no MOT is not a good sign.
These generally seem to suffer from oil leaks, mine had one when I got it as well. Usually an easy fix unless a the crank seal.
I think I'd be walking away tbh

yeah the no mot just kills any trust the car just so much hassle to get that sorted as well isnt it. the guy bit of a loon to let it expire then try sell it lol!!! yeah while no visable rust must be something lurking under the car i cannot see as yeah it says in the advisory

I bought mine purely to take apart and put the engine into my fiesta so wasn't fussed about any rust. However at a glance it looked like a tidy car, but when I started taking wings off etc I was amazed at how much rust was hidden away. I'm glad I stripped it down and seen how bad it was underneath as I wouldn't of wanted to of kept it and used it as it is

yeah so likely rust be more hiding, but did look very good better then my fiesta to be honest as mine quite heavily rusted on back arches now, from ur photo that puma doesnt look to bad underneath it all, yeah sadly no mot and oil leak rust advisory on structure is very big cause for concern...maybe beginning of the end of the chassis

I loved my Puma but it was like a tea bag. I did a shit load of welding to the floors and a bit on the sills

guy tried give it away to me for £300 all fairness body had it going for it but did have very minior starts of rust on back arch rest looked clean but expired mot shit ton of advisories put me off, apprently he sold it either some mug took the problem or he MOT it himself as he said to me i give it to u for £300 now or i will MOT it myself fix the issues but i will want more money....that point rather put money into something else car with no MOT that many problems be hard to give it away i think
