The escort cossie episode makes me laugh. Buys it of a guy does the work to it,puts another whale tail on it then sells it back to the original guy who sold the car.

They did an S2000 in one episode , bought for £3k, got the VTEC working which was a blocked solenoid filter, fitted a lambda sensor and steering rack, got the wheels refurbed and sold it for £7k.

they would have made a loss on almost all the cars with the amount of man hours spent on them but they've made their fortune from the tv

Its a home mechanic sort of idea so I guess there not fussed on man hours. There sort of showing that these old cars can be put back to use by people. That's my take on the program
