I've routed my air filter from the turbo through the inner wing to under the front wing, at the minute, this is an Apexi cone filter, but I need something either to cover the filter to protect from rain, spray from wheels etc , I've noticed a few Cosworth conversions putting the air filter under the wing , any suggestions?'

What car is this on?

I have seen covers for the k&n filters on a Focus mk1 rs as the filter is mounted low, if I was running one on a cossie though I just wouldn’t drive the car in the rain tbh.

If it’s an all weather car leave the filter in the engine bay

Its a Ford Anglia with an Nissan sr20det ,I really don't drive it in the rain if I can help it but just in case .

Mine sits under wing behind bumper on my focus cosworth never had a cover on tho

Had that on previous car, only shit myself when going to Rally GB down some Welsh lanes with a lot of standing water.

Thanks for that I'm going to try to make up a plastic cover for the filter will put some pics up when I get started .
