Steering lock problems , so fitted steering lock as they destroyed old one trying to nick her, all fits well however when steering lock is on the whole steering lock housing and the black metal sleeve that the housing slides onto moves side to side. If I tap the housing and sleeve down to stop it moving side to side the whole unit is then to far down for the steering lock to engage with the wheel , in fact it’s so far down the horn contacts don’t contact the steering wheel.
I’ve tightened up the 13mm nut n bolt at the bottom of the black sleeve as much as it will go.
Any idea peeps , have they fucked the complete column ? ffs shit thing final thing I need to sort so I can get her moving for the time in 10 years lol.
