Anyone know the outside diameter of a Cosworth 6 rib crank pulley ?

I want to use Cossie alternator and power steering pump on my build and don't want to over speed them if the V8 engine has too big a crank pulley.

They're pretty small, maybe 4-5" ?

I used a Sierra PAS pump when I had the Rover V8 and never had any issues. V8's do tend to have larger pulleys...but also rev lower than a lot of 4 cylinders.

The engine should be free revving and make peak power around 6300rpm according to the guy that built it.

I asked for a reasonable idle and to drive OK in traffic, cam spec looks a little racy - hopefully being a 427 will tame it a bit!

Cosworth V6 BOA 6 rib crank pulley is about 135mm

Wouldnt be too worried about it, cam should be fine in a 427

I've got power steering pump from Sierra Cosworth with ribbed pulley.

Ideally I need to know what the YB crank pulley measures at in case the BOA pump pulley is different, might have to phone up Anembo engineering and ask nicely if no one has one at hand to measure.

Under drive crank pulley showed up today from Summit racing, roughly 120mm across the tops of the v bits.

Anyone got one on hand to measure ?

Should have just text me mate. I just sold a 4x4 ribbed pulley.
I have a alternator and water pump pulley if required 😉
