if its someone misjudging the distance/speed of an oncoming vehicle because they were speeding excessively and pulling out in its path then theyre both at fault..... but id expect the eyes of the law to hammer the speeding driver most.....

There's a huge car park area/playing field nearby that could have been used for a static show rather than this area. Dunno why that was not just used. I sent the link to my mate as he originally started up cruise_herts and ran it for a couple of years with no issues but then sold it off just after 2004 I think it was as he changed priorities in life. Didn't know cruise_herts was still going.

I ran passionford watford for some years as well as the annual birthday passionford meet at the ace cafe both static, scene has changed big time hence no longer running them as the younger generation with all these cars that pop n fart maps making their cars sound like delboys 3 wheeled van and want to show them off on the road which is not for me as is attending shows like focus fest (ford fair) at silverstone each year, these cruise style ones attract equally the good and bad of all brand cars and the organisers know that and turn a blind eye until something goes wrong.

There's always someone out there to ruin something, either stupidity, jealousy etc. In all the time i've been crusing it was mostly down southend and to be fair that wasn't too bad, I saw someone not paying attention and rear end one car (I think it was an astra) into an audi coupe parked up damaging all three cars just because the first cars driver was watching something else. I also saw two drunks fighting and one get stabbed by the main roundabout as you come onto the sea front and the injured guy slid across the bonnet of my escort.

I'm guessing that it will keep coming back to the police cracking down more on cruising.
