Hi i know this has been covered loads but I'm just wondering if anyone's put a 1.820vt from an Audi tt in a mk3 fiesta or similar. Loves those engines

it would be possible if you can fabricate parts to fit the 20v into the fiesta. There is a mk3 escort with the Audi engine.

I bet it's a big job. Be easier if a few had done it and i found a guide I could follow. Maybe I'll have to stick to the origional plan with a st170 engine. Bet it's easier

Stick a mk1 focus rs engine in it.

Biggest issue with a project like that is custom drive shafts. Actual mounting of the engine wouldn’t be that hard as most fwd engine and gear boxes hang of 3 or 4 points.

ford lump is bound to be easier due to mix and match of parts. I think there was a Honda k20 transplant into an Orion that would give you an idea of what it would take.
