Classic VW Beetles, 1972 - anyone know about them?
Might be able to get hold of a 20k miles 1972 beetle, thats about all i know about it so far. Been dry stored and has a paint job with a signature on it, lime green i think.
Not seen it yet, but no idea what they go for if i take a punt.
Wont be to keep as i hate them 🤣

Bit of a "how long is a piece of string?" Question that.
Engine size, model, original colour, modified, condition etc etc.
Theres a cult following for them so should fetch good money, but as to value that's anyone's guess surely without more info.
a quick look on eBay shows anything up to £6.5k

I've just done a road trip for a holiday from NY state to Vermont and through New Hampshire into Maine and seen a few vw beetles, camper vans etc parked up looking sorry for themselves today.
Seems every state has a different love for a euro car, some states (Vermont) was Saab's, then further down the trip it was the turbo brick volvo's and then mercedes. I saw a couple of 2002 bmws parked up as well.

No not yet, its my Aunt’s car so i called her yesterday. Turns out its a 1974 and done 56k miles, needs new tyres and window trims. She has no idea what engine it has, but it was her dads car that he bought new. So 2 owners. There are a few rust spots, but doesn't sound all that bad for a 43 year old car.
She said last time they just charged the battery and it started fine.
Ill arrange to have a look asap.
