Looks like the zsoc forum has gone offline for good. Bloody annoying as I've just started a puma conversion on my mk5 zs and that place had all the answers

Loads of forums gone this way. Huge databases of knowledge disappearing because of social media - where you cant find fuck all! Hate it!

Zsoc was a great help to me when I had a puma’d fiesta, as above Facebook is shit just all about people posting a picture of their car.

It certainly seems a shame that all that info, knowledge and build threads etc has gone.
I'm not on FB and never will be, I've tried using a friends acount to look something up and couldn't get on with it. Not as simple to use as a forum like this.

I have tried to find stuff on Facebook that I know is there as read before and cannot find it. Forums have died off and it’s such a shame

That is why a few of us are reviving the Ford Sierra Owners Club.

There is a Facebook and Twitter Page but a lot of it effectively redirects back to the forum.

Only way to keep some of the info alive and as most members are not millennials, we all remember forums and what a good source of information and friendship they could be.

As long as we all keep posting updates and pics of stuff we are doing then there will be some traffic.

I've never gone away from the fsoc, met some great guys on there, one of them really saved my bacon in December when I had a catastrophic failure and was stuck for a cylinder head, for which I am eternally grateful

I do prefer the forums but if current info and clubs are operating on FB then you need to move with the times, I had to but I only use it for car related things not for personal use

Yeah photobucket is one of the biggest issues.

I'd rather stay on a forum, facebook is taking over everything else. Same with amazong

How anyone can favour using Facebook is beyond me! It’s so unorganised and messy and just full of rubbish when it comes to car stuff. I’m not a Facebook user but I had to join a sales group (as I was told it’s the place to actually find stuff) and it’s horrible.

Everything is a jumbled mess! I even googled it and it seems Facebook decided to change things so posts are sorted in popularity or relevance rather than time posted. The majority of the posts are total rubbish and/or chavved up tat too.

This forum is a bit quiet too but we just need to keep on posting threads and try to keep the batter going.

Imo social media like Facebook Twitter and Instagram are places for bragging about what you have in life and how good your life is. People never post the shit things in there life.
