Default Sat Nav pointer

I don't know if anyone has had this problem. I updated my Tomtom 520 last week and ever since the pointer is erratic, sometimes pointing downwards and sometimes pointing sideways. I've tried
the TomTom forum and emailed them but still no reply. I thought maybe someone might know how to fix it.

Thanks for any replies

Ron

I only had this for Christmas, so it's only a few months old.
